OBITUARY

CLAXTON-PRITCHARDVILLE: Althea Sikes Hay, 75, passed away December 24, 2014 at the Hospice House of Savannah. She was a native of Evans County and an l957 graduate of Claxton High School. She lived the last 32 years in Pritchardville, SC and was retired from Union Camp Corporation.
Mrs. Hay was preceded in death by her parents, Arrie Mitchell and Lawson Sikes and a brother; Edward Sikes of Claxton, GA.
SURVIVORS: Her husband, Roy Hay of Pritchardville, SC; two daughters, Jenifer (Floyd) Whittington of Savannah, GA and Kathy Zaraza of Northampton, PA; one sister, Aretha Blakewood of Rincon, GA; two stepsons, Kenneth (Natalie) Hay of Orangeburg, SC and Danny (Nita) Hay of Statesboro, GA; eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Saturday, December 27, 2014 5:00 to 7:00 PM at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 2:30 PM at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Sikes Chapel U.M.C. Cemetery
