OBITUARY
CLAXTON: Betty Faye Akins, 86, died March 22.2015, at Evans Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Georgia and a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Elton and their daughter, Melba Faye Rebicek.
SURVIORS: Three sons and a daughter-in-law, Carey E. Akins of Dacula, GA., DeWayne E. Akins of Zion, IL., and Michael J. Akins of Clemson, S.C.; three daughters Melba Rebicek (Deceased) of Silver Lake, WI., Donna VanRyn of Tinley Park, IL., and Colleen Bubnich of Lake City, FL.; two brothers, William Edward Todd of Claxton, GA. and Elvin G. Todd of Glennville, GA.; one sister, Garnette McFarland of Pembroke, GA., 9 grandchildren, George, Amy, Jordon, Taylor, Sydney, Evan, Ethan Aaron and Daniel; 3 great-grandchildren Mike of Dacula GA., Bentley of Clemson S.C. and Jacob of Baton Rouge, LA.
VISITATION: Wednesday, March 25, 2015, 5:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Thursday, March 26, 11:00 a.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
