Betty Irene Moncrief

CLAXTON: Betty Irene Mitchell Moncrief, 88, passed away January 10, 2013, at home. She was an Evans County native and a member of the First Baptist Church and the Fidelis Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Moncrief was preceded in death by her husband, Walter F. Moncrief.
SURVIVORS: one daughter, Marian (Buddy) May of Elgin, S.C.; three sons, Jimmy (Marsha) Moncrief and Tony (Blonnie) Moncrief, all of Claxton, and Tim (Ellen) Moncrief of Bogart, GA.; one sister, Ilethia Hinson of Claxton; five grandchildren, Michael, Tiffany, Colby, Maggie and Michele; three great-grandchildren, Emily, Meredith and Waylan; and several nieces, nephews.
VISITATION: Saturday, January 12, 2013, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Sunday, January 13, 2013, 2:00 p.m., at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
