Carl Aden Durrence

CLAXTON: Carl Aden Durrence, 38, passed away February 14, 2020, in Memorial Hospital. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and attended CHS. He worked in the Claxton Elementary School lunch room and then FedEx. He loved Alabama Crimson Tide, NASCAR and fishing. Even though it is so sad to lose Carl on Valentines Day, it is also fitting in the fact that Carl loved everyone, old or young, but his favorite person was his niece, Isabella Grace.
Carl was preceded in death by his papa, Colquitt NeSmith and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Elton Durrence, (Poor Boy and Tootsie).

SURVIVORS: his mother, Donna N. Durrence (Ricky Hutcheson), of Claxton; his father, Denny (Debbie) Durrence of Glennville; his grandmother, Joyce NeSmith of Claxton; his sister, Wimberly D. Herman of Statesboro; a brother, William Scott Durrence of LaVala, MD; his girlfriend, Shelley Morgan of Claxton; his special niece, Isabella Grace Herman of Statesboro; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

VISITATION: Sunday, February 16, 2020, 12:30-2:00 at the First Baptist Church.

FUNERAL: Sunday, February 16, 2020, 2:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Nathan LaShoto officiating.

BURIAL: Brewton Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS: Jason Stone, Tony Moncrief, Bubba Massey, Cody NeSmith, Danny Livingston and Jamie Roberts.
