CLAXTON/GLENNVILLE: Charlene Tatum Jones, 75, passed away September 14, 2020 at her residence in Glennville, Georgia. The Tattnall County native was a homemaker who loved her family and was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church where she loved her church and church friends. Ms. Jones is preceded in death by her parents, Carlton and Alice Laniey Tatum; husband, Seward Sonny “Son” Jones; brother, Gene Tatum; sister, Maridene Rowell.
SURVIVORS: sons, Timmy Jones of Claxton, Joey Jones of Claxton; significant other, Roger Padgett of Reidsville; brothers, Jimmy Tatum of Glennville and Danny Tatum of Glennville; sisters, Huey Hodges of Glennville and Eloise Skinner of Metter, one grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE OBSERVED DURING THE VISITATION AND CHURCH SERVICE, DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. MASKS ARE REQUIRED PER CHRUCH GUIDELINES.
