OBITUARY
CLAXTON: Curtis (Snoogie) Yarbrough, 85, faithfully completed his life journey February 1, 2015 at Ogeechee Area Hospice supported by his wife of 63 cherished years and his family. He was a native of Chatham County but had lived in Evans County since 1972 and was a member of Eason’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Mr. Curtis served as a trustee of Tattnall Campground for 30 years, Eason’s Chapel treasurer for 18 years and was the building committee chairman for a number of years. He also served in the Navy for seven years.
Mr. Yarbrough was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Tiny Yarbrough and great-grandchild Addison Yarbrough.
SURVIORS: Martha V. Yarbrough of Claxton, sons and daughters in-law; David and Terri Yarbrough of Claxton, Glenn and Mary Yarbrough of Little Rock AR; sister and brother in law; June and Lyndon Kicklighter of Claxton, grandchildren; Heather and Reid Maner, Jeremy and Heather Yarbrough, Corey and Tiffany Yarbrough, Casey Yarbrough, Carly and Michael Tucker; great-grandchildren; David and Caroline Maner, Cade Tucker. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
VISITATION: Monday, February 2, 2015, 5:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Tuesday, February 3, 2015, 2:00p.m. at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
