OBITUARY
CLAXTON: Danny Durrence, 65, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro. He was born in Bryan County December 25,1949, but had lived most of his life in Evans and was of baptist faith. He was a Vietnam War Veteran and after service he drove a truck for Claxton Poultry for several years. Danny was preceded in death by his parents; Roy and Mary Durrence and a brother, Freddie.
SURVIORS: He is survived by his wife; Grace; two sons, Danny Durrence of Claxton and Tony (Cathy) Durrence of Ellabelle; two daughters, Angela Durrence and Lynn (Alejandro) Guzman; four brothers, Henry (Nancy) Durrence of Claxton, Roy Durrence Jr. of Tyson, Clifford (Martha) Durrence of Texas, Elvy Durrence of Texas, Mike Durrence; two sisters, Linda ( Bill) Smith of Vidalia and Diane (Gene) Reddish of Reidsville; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Monday, January 19, 2015, 5:00 -7:00p.m. at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Tuesday, January 20, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Antioch Church Cemetery.
