OBITUARY
CLAXTON: Durell Kicklighter, Sr., 91, passed away December 29, 2014, at Evans Memorial Hospital. The Bulloch County native resided in Evans County for most of his life. He was the son of Remer Kicklighter and Myrtice Warren Kicklighter. He served in the US Navy during WWII. Mr. Kicklighter was employed by Georgia Power Construction for 30 years before retiring.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Della Martin Kicklighter and son, Martin.
SURVIORS: one son, Wes Kicklighter of Vidalia; one daughter, Caroline (Jimmy) Blocker of Hagan; one brother, Willie Marks of Charleston, S.C.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Tuesday, December 30, 2014, 5-7:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Wednesday, December 31, 2014, 11:00 a.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Brewton Cemetery, Hagan. Ga.
