OBITUARY

CLAXTON: Emily Jean Cowart Jones, 70, passed away at her home March 13, 2014. She was a member of Avondale Missionary Baptist Church and native of Chatham County. She lived in Evans and Tattnall Counties a number of years. She also worked for Wiggins Garden Center for 17 years. She was a beloved wife and mother that loved gardening, fishing, landscaping and just being outdoors. She was preceded in death by her parents, Inman T. Cowart and Ila Boyles, sister; Jo Francis Strickland and brother; R.H. Cowart

SURVIORS: Husband; Leon Jones, one daughter; Jennifer (Clayton) Price all of Claxton. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
VISITATION: Friday, March 14, 2014, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral home.
GRAVESIDE: Saturday, March 15th, 2014, 2:00 p.m., at Old Anderson Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
BURIAL: Old Anderson Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
