Erney Bell

CLAXTON: Erney Bell, 67, passed away March 11, 2018, at Glenvue Nursing Home. He was a native and lifelong resident of Evans County. Ernie was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Fellowship Class, the Methodist Men’s Club and Wild Life Club. He worked for CSX Railroad from 1969-1979, and loved farming in the family business, Bell Farms.
Erney was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Winton Bell.

SURVIVORS: his son, Stephen (Amanda) Bell of Bellville; his daughter, Amanda Lynn Bell of SC; two brothers, Gary (Leigh) Bell and Danny (Tena) Bell, all of Bellville; two grandchildren, Brayden and Gabriel Bell; and several nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: Tuesday, March 13, 2018, 5-7:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.

FUNERAL: Wednesday, March 14, 2018, 11:00 a.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Huling and Rev. Mike Lyons officiating.

HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Claxton High School Class of 1968.

BURIAL: Brewton Cemetery, Hagan, GA.
