He was a native of Savannah, Georgia and a graduate of Wilcox School. He met the love of his life, Vickie in 1980. He worked for Crosby Paving for 30 years before embarking as an entrepreneur of D/P Sealcoat and Paving out of Claxton, GA. He was Papa to seven glorious grandchildren and the dad he didn’t have to be to three grateful children. He spent the days of his youth racing with his brother, Wayne. He attended Sikes Chapel United Methodist Church. Dale loved Harleys, old cars and the Turkey Rod Run.
