George Sampey Hodges

May 14, 1959 — July 2, 2017

CLAXTON: George S. Hodges, 58, passed away at Memorial Health in Savannah. He was a native of Bulloch County and lived in Evans County most of his life and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
George was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Marblee Hodges and a brother, James Fountain.
SURVIVORS: three brothers, Donald (Kim) Hodges of Claxton, Jimmy Hodges of Jesup and Lewis (Connie) Hodges of Daisy; four sisters, Betty (Kenny) Hodges of Claxton, Martha (Mallie) Hagan of Daisy, Alice Faye (Jerry) Holloway of Brunswick and Diane Fountain of Guyton; and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Wednesday, July 5, 2017, 12-2:00 at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Wednesday, July 5, 2017 2:00 p.m. at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Middle Ground Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery
