OBITUARY
CLAXTON: Graydon C. Maxwell, Jr. 80, passed away on May 7, 2015, at Candler Hospital in Savannah. He was a native of Virginia but had lived in Evans County since 1972. Graydon retired from the Air Force after 21 years of service and also retried from Evans County Road Department as superintendent after 20 years of service.
SURVIORS: wife, Mildred Barrow Maxwell of Claxton; one son, David (Nancy) Maxwell of Savannah; two daughters, Marie Ann Maxwell of Jacksonville, FL, Nancy Davis of Savannah; six brothers, Joe of Missouri, Wilbur of South Carolina, Tom, Douglas, Robert and Barry Maxwell, all of Virginia; two sisters; Virginia Davenport and Mary Layne of Virginia; four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Monday, May 11, 2015 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Monday, May 11, 2015 2:00 p.m. at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery
