CLAXTON: Henry Lott, 76, passed away June 10, 2017 at his home. He was a native and lifelong resident of Evans County and graduated from Claxton High School in 1962. He was drafted into the Army where he served two years. He was employed by McDougald Motors with 22 years of service and also worked for the cities of Hagan and Claxton.
He was of Baptist faith and was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Myrtle Lott, and four brothers, Garland, Thurmond, Joe and his twin Hinton Lott and baby sister, Lucille Lott.
SURVIVORS: wife, Mary Beth Lott of Claxton; one daughter, Alisa Lott Sapp of Metter, two step-sons; Michael (Carla) Waters of Glennville and James (Cynthia) Waters of Register, one step daughter; Melissa Waters of Claxton, two brothers; Rudy (Marie) Lott of Puyallup, Washington, Sam Lott of Manassas; five sisters, Dorothea Taylor of Claxton, Ruby (Floyd) Hodges of Claxton, Nannette Hutcheson of Claxton, Mary (J.D.) Cosson of Leesburg, FL., and Betty McCoy of Bloomingdale; Seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many other relatives.
VISITATION: Monday, June 12, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Tuesday, June 13, 11:00 a.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Brewton Cemetery.
