Hilda Williamson Eason

CLAXTON: Hilda Williamson Eason, 87, passed away at Ogeechee Area Hospice Wednesday, July 29, 2015. The Bryan County native has lived in Statesboro most of her life and was a member of Pittman Park United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her work at Willingway Hospital for 18 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry A. Eason, brother, Joseph Williamson, daughter in-law, Sandra A. Eason, and her parents, Hudson and Birdye Williamson.
SURVIORS: two sons Harry Lloyd Eason, Sr. of Claxton, GA., and James Neal (Elizabeth) Eason, Sr. of Woodbine, GA; one daughter, Susan E. (Ernest) Nubern of Statesboro, GA; three grandchildren, Harry Lloyd Eason, Jr., James Neal Eason, Jr. and Van Freeman (Risha) Eason; four great-grandchildren, Chansley Grace Eason, Pason Sawyer Eason, Kirsten Brooke Eason and Alexis Jade Agnew; and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Saturday, August 1, 2015, 9:30 – 11:00 a.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Saturday, August 1, 2015, 11:00 a.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Eason Family Cemetery.
