Hilda Anderson Sapp
June 28, 1926 — April 17, 2020
CLAXTON: Hilda Anderson Sapp, 93, passed away April 17, 2020, at Memorial Health in Savannah. She was born in Bulloch County but resided in Evans County for most of her life. She was a member of Claxton Primitive Baptist Church and a homemaker. She loved and adored her children and grandchildren. Also, she enjoyed fishing, her flowers, cooking and feeding others.
Ms. Hilda was preceded in death by her husband, W. Erie Sapp and son, Michael Sapp.
SURVIVORS: one son, Gary (Hilda) Sapp of Claxton; two daughters, Gail (John) O’Meara of Savannah and Jerris Waller of Claxton; eleven grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL: Private graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2020, 2 p.m., at Ephesus Church Cemetery.
