Jacquelyne 'Jack' Nesmith Waters

CLAXTON/TEXAS: Jacquelyne ‘Jack’ Waters, 94, passed away December 9, 2015. The Evans County native was a graduate of CHS and then she attended and graduated from Warren-Candler Nursing School and worked as an RN for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She loved reading, working in the garden and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Waters, Jr., her parents, Mellie and Blonnie NeSmith, and brothers, Colquitt and Murry NeSmith.
SURVIVORS: her daughter, Robin (Jesse) Gould of Diana, TX; her son, Robert R. (Janet) Waters, III, of Alta, CA; four grandchildren, Don Loper, Lyndsey Waters, Melanie Raby and Robert Loper; two sisters-in-law, Betty NeSmith Edwards and Joyce NeSmith, both of Claxton; 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Monday, December 14, 2015, 10:00-11:00 a.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Monday, December 14, 11:00 a.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Brewton Cemetery, Hagan, GA.
