OBITUARY
CLAXTON: James (Jamie) T. Easterling III, 54, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014 at Evans Memorial Hospital. He had accepted the Lord and Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and attended First Baptist Church of Claxton. Jamie passed away suddenly at work. Jamie was an avid golfer, loved all sports, especially football. He served in the Georgia National Gard, and was a hard worker and spent 20 years at Claxton Poultry and the last two years at Claxton Cold Storage. He was a good hearted and caring man and nothing was more important than his family and friends, especially his grand babies. Jamie was preceded in death by his parents, LCDR James and Lela Easterling, and his sister, Tracy Easterling Rushing.
SURVIORS: two daughters, Summer Chaney Carbullido of San Deigo, Meaghan Easterling Taylor, Alma; one son James T. Easterling IV of Alma; one sister, Leslie Easterling Morris of Claxton; grandchildren; Taylor, Logan, Noah, Madison, Drew and Alli Kate; two nephews; M. Cagney Hearn and Andrew Rushing, several aunts, uncles, and cousins, special friend Lisa Cannon.
VISITATION: Thursday, December 18, 2014 5-7 p.m. at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Friday, December 19, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
