OBITUARY
CLAXTON: James E. (Jimmy) Hall, 55, of Claxton passed away at home Saturday, January 10. Jimmy, a 1978 graduate of Claxton High School, was owner/operator of Diamond H Farms. He was an enthusiastic sportsman and loved working outdoors. Jimmy was an avid horseman, racing several of his horses over the years in Louisiana, Florida, and Kentucky. He was a member of the Tattnall Cattlemen’s Association and the Louisiana Quarterhorse Breeders Association.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Lee Hall, Sr.; a sister Patricia Ann, and two brothers, John and Lee.
SURVIVORS: He is survived by his wife Tammi; mother, Ann Hall; two sons, Phillip (Kiley) Hall and Gray (Kari) Rogers; two brothers, Richard Hall and William “Scooter” (Kim) Hall; two grandchildren, Ryleigh and Adalynn Rogers, all of Claxton. four sisters-in-law, Norma (Bob) Preston of Douglas; Cheryl Rogers of Statesboro; Jane (Steve) Tippins of Colbert; June (David) Anderson of Claxton; several nieces and nephews.
