CLAXTON: James Walker (Gator) Johnson, 70, passed away February, 22, 2014, at his residence under the care of hospice. The Green County native lived most of his life in Evans County. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. James was a loving husband , dad and Lueretha Tillman was a (Granny) to him. He was preceded in death by his parents; Charlie and Celeste Johnson and two brothers, Mike and Ronnie.
SURVIORS: Wife; Cynthia Ann Johnson of Claxton, one son; Melvin Johnson of Claxton and a sister, Bonnie (William) Miller of Brunswick, several nieces and nephews.
