Jimmy Freeman Anderson, 63, of Bloomingdale, Georgia was called home on December 31, 2013. Jimmy was born to Raleigh and Lillian Anderson on June 16, 1950 in Register, Georgia. Jimmy graduated from Southeast Bulloch High School and went on to earn a two-year degree in Mechanical Technology from Savannah Technical College and was recognized as a Master Machinist. He devoted his professional life to being a machinist and using his hands and abilities to creating solutions for anything that needed any sort of repair. He enjoyed using these talents to help others every opportunity he could. He especially enjoyed sharing these gifts with his family as he loved everyone.
His interests included hunting, fishing, basketball, and farming. He shared these loves with his family and inspired others with his passion and knowledge about his interests.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Anderson; his sons, Chris and Jason Anderson; his step daughter, Vicki Weber; his grandchildren; Brennen Anderson, Laura Anderson, Avery Carver, Natalie Anderson, Zoie Anderson, Corey Rewis and Christopher Arnold; his siblings and their spouses, Terry and Nancy Preslar, Dennis and Jane Anderson, Jadon and Sherry Smith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raliegh and Lillian Anderson and his brother Wayne Anderson.
The viewing will take place from 9am-11am at NeSmith Funeral Home in Claxton, Georgia on January 7, 2014. After the viewing, services will be at 11:00AM at NeSmith Funeral Home. This will be followed by the burial at Ephesus Church.
