John Edward Nott

CLAXTON: John Edward Nott, 85, passed away October 7, 2013, at his home. He was born September 21, 1928 in Manchester, Maryland, and the son of the late Harvey Henry Nott, Sr., and Dora Blanche Hudson Nott. He retired from Disney and was a member of Sikes Chapel United Methodist Church and several organizations. He loved to help people in his community aswell.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Melanee Nott and a daughter, Gail Moskell, sisters, Hilda Weaver, Anna Armacost, Leila Mills, Bernice Garrett and brothers, Harvey Nott, Jr., and William Nott.
SURVIVORS: one brother, Donald Leroy Nott, Sr., of Manchester, MD; step-daughters, Gail (Patton) Long and Kathy Harrison; step-son, Randy English (Carol); one grandson, David Harrison; and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Thursday, October 10, 2013, 12:00- 2:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Thursday, October 10, 2013, 2:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Sikes Chapel Cemetery.
