John F. Waters

CLAXTON: John F. (Johnny) Waters, 79, passed away February 21, 2013, at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro. He was a native of Tattnall County but lived in Evans County for most of his life. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church, worked for Bryant Chevrolet and Neder Construction and retired as a mechanic. Johnny loved to go fishing.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Loretta Sapp Waters of Claxton; two sons, Randy (Nann) Waters and Barry (Sheila) Waters, all of Claxton; one sister, Carolyn Roberson of Brooklet; one grandchild, Leah Waters of Claxton; and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Saturday, February 23, 2013, 5-8:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Sunday, February 24, 2013, 2:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
