Kay Deloach Martin

COLLINS/CLAXTON: Kay DeLoach Martin, 66, passed away November 15, 2015, at St. Joseph Hospital in Savannah. The Bryan County native had been residing in Tattnall County for a number of years. She was of Methodist faith and a retired seamstress. She enjoyed cooking and gardening and was a devoted, loving mother and grandmother.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Lillie Mae Cowart and a son, Stacy DeLoach.
SURVIORS: her husband, Pat Martin of Collins; four daughters, Donna (Mark) Dement of Bulloch County, Connie (John) Doepker of Hilton Head, S.C., Bonnie (Joel) Thompson of Claxton and Melanie Williamson of Brunswick; her mother-in-law, Montez DeLoach of Mendez; two brothers, Gene (Monteen) Cowart and Bobby (Joanne) Cowart, all of Pembroke; one sister, Jewel Owens of Pembroke; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Wednesday, November 18, 10:00-11:00 a.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Wednesday, November 18, 11:00 a.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Cedar Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
