CLAXTON: Kaye Francis Behrens, 72, passed away 21st February 2020 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro, Georgia after a short illness. A private ceremony will be held for family and close friends on 29th February 2020.
Kaye was born on 14th November 1947 in Hastings, Nebraska to Mervyn F. Behrens and Eugenia L, Behrens. She attended and graduated from Pious X Catholic High School in Lincoln, Nebraska. She met and married Anthony J. LeCroy Sr. while living and working in Lincoln, Nebraska. They had two children Laura Ann (Joe) Flynn and Anthony John (Kelly) LeCroy Jr. while they were together. She worked most of her career in convenience store management while she lived in Glennville, Statesboro and Claxton Georgia. Most remember her as caring, giving and very proud of her children and grand-children.
She was preceded in death by her parents and survived by her two children, six grand-children, thirteen great grand-children, her sister Naomi Behrens and nieces, her best friends Barbara Sutton and Patsy Salter and many loving and caring friends around the globe.
