Leonard "Harry" Conley

CLAXTON: Leonard “Harry” Conley, III, 52, passed away at Memorial Health surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, March 10, 2022, after a brief illness. He was born in Bulloch County on March 15, 1969 and spent his whole life here in Evans County. Harry served in the Navy for three years before marrying his wife, Danett Conley of 27 years. Harry was an excellent carpenter and loved working with his hands. Harry loved picking up seashells by the beach, but he loved crabbing the most. Above all, Harry loved his family. He made sure they were provided for and spent time with them. Harry will be truly missed.
Harry was preceded by his grandparents, Leonard Harry and Maddie Lou Conley; and father-in-law, Gary Loper.

SURVIVORS: wife, Danett Conley of Claxton, Ga.; children, Shelbie (Jason) Smith, Jacob (Haley Bowen) Conley, and Luke Conley, all of Claxton, Ga.; parents, Junior and Iola Conley; sisters, Karen “Kay” (Marty) Strickland, Pennie (Jessie) DeLoach, and Christie (Casey) Kirkland; two grandchildren, Jase and Slade Smith; also, several nieces and nephews.


SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE OBSERVED DURING THE SERVICE, DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. MASKS ARE NOT REQUIRED BUT HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

BURIAL: DeLoach’s Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
