OBITUARY
HAGAN: Lex Dyess, 76, passed away June 12, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Tattnall County and resided in Evans County most of his life. He was a member of the Hagan United Methodist Church. He had been owner and operator of several business’s since 1960. Lex loved fishing and spending time with his family. He was a devoted husband and loving father. He loved helping others and giving back to those in need.
SURVIORS: His wife Carol R. Dyess of Hagan; daughter, Dene (Steve) Wilmot of Hilton Head Island, SC; sons, Clay Dyess and Curtis Berry both of Hagan; step-daughter, Patricia Parsley of Valdosta, GA; sister, Melba (Derry) Banks of Bellville, GA; brother, Mitch (Susan) Dyess of Hilton Head Island, SC; grandchildren, Nevan Dyess of Hagan, GA; Ashley Wilmot of Hilton Head, SC, Charlie Wilmot of Hilton Head Island, SC and Bobbi Howell of Valdosta, GA. Three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Sunday, June 14, 2015, 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Sunday, June 14, 2015, 2:00 p.m. at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
