CLAXTON: Marblee Hodges, 79, passed away March 6, 2016, at her home. She was a native of Bulloch County, but had resided in Evans County since 1975. She worked several years at Claxton Manufacturing and retired from Claxton Poultry.
Marblee was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Jack S. Hodges and son, James Fountain.
SURVIVORS: four sons, George Hodges , Lewis (Connie) Hodges and Donald (Kim) Hodges, al of Claxton, and Jimmy Hodges of Jesup; three daughters, Betty Hodges (Kenny) DeLoach and Martha (Mallie) Hagan, both of Claxton, Diane Fountain of Guyton and Alice Faye (Jerry) Holloway of Brunswick; one brother, Albert Brown of Augusta; one sister, Janie Harvey of Guyton; thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Tuesday, March 8, 2016, 5-until, at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Wednesday, March 9, 2016, 11:00 a.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Middleground Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
