OBITUARY

CLAXTON: Martha Smith Sapp, 69, passed away August 5, 2014, at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro. The Evans County native was of Baptist faith. She was retired from USDA food services. Martha loved her grandchildren and enjoyed watching them play ball, she also enjoyed going to auctions and loved buying glass ware.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents; Ott and Clistie Smith and two brothers; John H. Smith and Charles M. Smith.
SURVIORS: Husband of 51 years, Irvin Sapp of Claxton; Daughter Tammy (Tony) Kennedy of Glennville; grandchildren, Trent and Trey Kennedy of Glennville; four sisters, Mary Wood of Claxton, Minetta (Stan) Dunn of Jacksonville, FL, Nancy Clements of Knoxville, TN and Cheryl (Wayne) Rogers of Claxton.
VISITATION: Thursday, August 7, 2014, 1:00-3:00 p.m. at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Thursday, August 7, 2014, 3:00 p.m. at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel
BURIAL: Brewton Cemetery
