OBITUARY

CLAXTON: Mary (Ann) Ray, 75 died peacefully with her loving family surrounding her on December 18, 2013.
She was under the care of Wilson Hospice House in Albany, Ga. The Candler County native lived most of her life in Middle Georgia before moving to Bellville, in 1997 where she lived before moving to Albany in 2013. She was a homemaker and Methodist by faith. She loved the Lord and her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband William Herman Ray, her father and mother, Clifford & Zada Jarriel, and a brother Roger Jarriel.

SURVIVORS: three sons, Bill Ray of Bellville; Steve Ray of Hagan; and Richard Ray of Kathleen; daughter Cheryl (David) Williams, of Leesburg; one sister Betty Stewart, of Black Creek; sister-in-law Billie Jarriel of Darien; three grandchildren, Brittney, Lindsey, and Cameron Williams.


VISITATION: Saturday, December 21, 2013, 9:30a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

FUNERAL: Saturday, December 21, 2013, at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a graveside services at 2:00 p.m. in Oak Grove Cemetery in McRae, Ga.

BURIAL: Oak Grove Cemetery in McRae.
