Michael E. (Mike) Hendrix Sr.

OBITUARY

CLAXTON: Michael E. Hendrix Sr. (Mike), 64, passed away at Candler Hospital in Savannah. He was a native of Tattnall County, but has lived in Evans County most of his life. Mike served in the U.S. Army and later retired from Fort Stewart after many years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilton and Evelyn Hendrix and three brothers; Glynn, Harold, and Charles Hendrix.

SURVIORS: Wife of 42 years, Christine D. Hendrix, of Claxton; one son, Michael E. (Nicole) Hendrix Jr. and one grandson, Michael E. Hendrix III all of Claxton; one sister, Kathryn H. Jarriel of Collins; one brother, Earl (Gail) Hendrix of Claxton; several nieces and nephews; One sister in-law; Patty Sapp of Claxton.

VISITATION: Monday, February 8, 2016 at 10:00am at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.

FUNERAL: Monday, February 8, 2016 at 11:00am at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.

BURIAL: Memorial Service will be at a later date
