Pamela Jean Jackson

CLAXTON: Pamela Jackson, 51, passed away at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro. She lived most of her life in Evans County and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and also worked at Shoney’s for 17 years, Best Friends Animal Hospital for nine years and Cracker Barrel for several years. Pam enjoyed spending time with her animals, especially her cocker spaniels, she loved taking them on walks, especially at local state parks. She was preceded in death by her mother, Estelle Jackson.

SURVIVORS: her fiancé of 31 years, Marty Boyette of Claxton; father, Leon (Zelta) Jackson; brother, Leon Jackson, Jr. of Garfield; sister, Sandy Sapp of Statesboro; uncle, Bill Harper; aunt, Joann Harper; cousin, Billie Harper; one niece, Cody; two nephews, Nick, and Spencer.

VISITATION: Tuesday, March 27, 2018 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.

FUNERAL: Tuesday, March 27, 2018 11:00 a.m. at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.

BURIAL: Anderson Church Cemetery
