Patricia Kennedy Sapp

CLAXTON: Patricia K. Sapp, 78, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at her residence, under the loving care of her family and Ogeechee Area Hospice. Patsy was the daughter of the late L.B. (Son) and Susie Mae Kennedy. She was a native of Evans County, dedicating her life to caring for her family. She was a member of Bull Creek Baptist Church and the Emeritus Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 300.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Michael Sapp, her grandson, Ashley Sapp and her brother, James (Jimmy) D. Kennedy.
SURVIORS: surviving to cherish memories include her husband of 61 years, Rabon Sapp of Claxton; a daughter, Janet (Dale) Jones of Claxton; two sons, Eddie Sapp of Claxton and Keith (Melanie) Sapp of Cumming, GA; one sister, Sue Nell Moore of Rincon; one brother, L.B. (Sonny) Kennedy of Cumming; four grandchildren, Erica Anderson, Dr. Alex Sapp, Kevin Sapp, Neil Sapp and two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Thursday, September 10, 2015, 5-7:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Friday, September 11, 2015, 11:00 a.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Smith and Rev. Ron Ross officiating.
BURIAL: Brewton Cemetery, Hagan, GA.
PALLBEARERS: Randy Kennedy, Melvin Kennedy, Scott Kennedy, Ken Kennedy, Robbie Sapp and Andrew Anderson.
