Rachel Lee Deloach

OBITUARY

CLAXTON: Rachel Lee DeLoach, 17, passed away November 10, 2014, after injuries sustained from a car accident. She was a native of Bulloch County but had resided in Evans County all her life. Rachel was baptized and a member of Eastside Baptist Church but was attending Rehoboth Baptist Church. She was a senior at Claxton High School, and was a member of the tennis team, the cross-country team (which went to State last year) FCCLA, FBLA and served as CHS mascot.
Rachel was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Dennis DeLoach and her paternal grandmother, Betty Lee DeLoach.
SURVIORS: her mother, Jamie Lee DeLoach of Claxton; her father, Shannon DeLoach of Claxton; two brothers, Mitchell and Dale DeLoach of Claxton; two sisters, Haley Kicklighter and Olivia Hamilton of Claxton; maternal grandmother, Brenda Clark of Claxton; paternal grandfather, Theron DeLoach of Shellman Bluff, Ga; two aunts, Bridget Thornton of Claxton and Stacy (Junior) Groover of Ludowici; great-aunt, Deborah DeLoach of Hagan; cousins, Marissa and Colin Thornton, Justin and Gage Groover.​
VISITATION: November 13, 2014, 3:30 to 8:00 p.m., at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Friday, November 14, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Rehoboth Baptist Church.
BURIAL: Union Methodist Church Cemetery.
