CLAXTON: Remer Jimmy Dasher Jr., 71, passed away August 5, 2020 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro Georgia. He was a native of Long County but had lived in Evans County for 33 years. He was a member of Jones Creek Baptist Church in Long County. Jimmy served full time National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Remer J. Dasher Sr, and Miriam Parker Dasher
SURVIVORS: his wife of 33 years, Sandra Todd Dasher of Claxton; one son, Richard Dasher of Riceboro, Georgia.; one daughter, Theresa (Pete) Smith of Effingham, County. Three brothers, Eddie (Barbara) Dasher, Jeffery (Joyce) Dasher and Don Dasher all of Ludowici, Georgia; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, who he loved very much.
VISITATION: Friday, August 7, 2020 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
FUNERAL: Graveside, Friday, August 7, 2020 11:00 a.m. at Bull Creek Church Cemetery.
SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE OBSERVED DURING THE VISITATION AND GRAVESIDE SERVICE, DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
