RICHMOND HILL/CLAXTON: Rickey DeLoach, 67, passed away on October 28, 2024.
He graduated from Claxton High School, class of 1975, then proudly served as a Marine in the United States Military for four years. He then met his wife, Elaine Annis, and married her on June 4, 1988. In 1991, they built a home together in Richmond Hill, Georgia.
Rickey was a dedicated and hard-working man. He held many positions and even balanced multiple jobs at one time, including his career with Fort Stewart, working on tank simulators, and later working on flight simulators for Flight Safety International.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Charles and Belle Williamson DeLoach.
SURVIVORS: wife, Elaine DeLoach of Richmond Hill, Ga.; son, Michael “Bud” DeLoach; daughter, Stephanie DeLoach; grandchildren, Colby Beck, Owen Beck, Liam Beck; brother, Charles (Ann) DeLoach of Westfield SC; niece, Kararae (Henry) Goins, and her children, Alex and Hank Goins, and one on the way.
VISITATION: Thursday, October 31, 2024, 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Graveside, Thursday, October 31, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at Union Church Cemetery.
BURIAL: Union Church Cemetery.
