Rosalyn Rogers Cox

Bellville: Rosalyn Rogers Cox, 74, passed away June 16, 2017, at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro, GA. The Tattnall County native lived in Evans County for the past 10 years. She was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for 20 years, sang in the choir and was a member of Women on Mission. Rosalyn was the love of Jerry’s life for 57 years and a very loving and sharing mother, grandmother and friend to all.
She was preceded in death by her parents J. Sidney and Sibyl DeLoach Rogers and sister Harriett Rhoden.

SURVIVORS: husband, Ernest Jerry Cox of Bellville, GA., son, Sid Cox of Reidsville, GA., daughter Lori (Randy) Tucker of Evans, GA.; nephew, Russ Rhoden of Reidsville, GA., niece Ramona Ioane; five grandchildren, Jeremy, Jeffery and Luke Cox, Will and Logan Tucker; one great-grandchild, Braylin Cox.

VISITATION: Saturday, June 17, 2017, 5:00-7:00 p.m. at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.

FUNERAL: Sunday, June 18, 2017, 3:00 p.m. at Rehoboth Baptist Church.

BURIAL: Bay Branch Church Cemetery.
