OBITUARY
CLAXTON: Russell David Long, 35, passed away April 29, 2015 at his residence after a long fight with cancer. The Chatham County native had been living in Evans County for a number of years. Rusty was an avid gun collector, and loved hunting and fishing. He was very mechanically inclined.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Robin Long of Claxton; his adoptive parents, Murray and Ruby Long of Claxton; his father, Russell Mark Long of Claxton; one son, Trevor Paul Southwell of Claxton; one daughter, Kari Marie Southwell of Claxton; two brothers, Murray H. (Barbara) Long, Jr., of Byron, GA., and Danny Long of Queensbury, NY; two sisters, Patricia Lynn (Andy) Hendrix of Claxton and Dorothy Long Hughes of Collins; and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Friday, May 1, 2015, 12:00-2:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
