OBITUARY
CLAXTON: Stephanie Lynn Strickland, 52, passed away October 2, 2014, at her residence. The Evans County native was a member of the Hagan United Methodist Church. She graduated from Claxton High School in 1980 and worked at Claxton Poultry for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Joann Butler.
SURVIORS: her husband, John ‘Pete’ Strickland of Claxton; one son, John Strickland of Claxton; one daughter, Sheila Marie Mauch of Charlotte, N.C.; one brother, Teddy Butler of Claxton; three sisters, Vickie Steptoe, Cheryl Butler and Cynthia Smith, all of Claxton; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Sunday, October 5, 2014, 5-7:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Monday, October 6, 2014, 11:00 a.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Brewton Cemetery, Hagan, GA.
