OBITUARY
CLAXTON: Tholer M. Boyette, age 92, went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, April13, 2014. Mrs. Boyette was a native of Jenkins and Candler County, but lived in Evans County most of her life as a homemaker and a seamstress. She was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church in Claxton, Ga. Mrs. Boyette was a loving mother and precious grandmother. She enjoyed working in her yard with her flowers and listening to her favorite country and western, gospel, and bluegrass music. She enjoyed fishing and trips to the mountains and to the beach. Most important to her was time spent with family and friends. She was always eager to help her neighbors, friends and loved ones in a time of need. She left behind loving memories which will forever be etched in the hearts of her family and friends.
Mrs. Boyette is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Eli Boyette, an infant son, Lester Calloway, 3 brothers, Marvin, Evans, and HC Miles; 2 sisters, Eldra Faircloth and Bessie McCullough.
SURVIVORS: 4 sons and 2 daughters; RD (Connie) Calloway, Fay (Don) Oliver, Delores (Chubby R Driggers) Boyette, Lonnie (Patricia Reese) Boyette, Roger Boyette, and Marty (Pam Jackson) Boyette; 8 grandchildren; Dan Calloway, Tina (Bruce) Dailey, Donna (Pete) Roussin, Suzette (Harold Stapleton) Allen, Brian (Sue) Oliver, Faith Beckworth, and Kevin and Brandon Boyette; 6 great grandchildren, Farrah Calloway, Jared Dailey, Mandi Allen, Victoria and Mark Roussin, and Azare Boyette, 1 great great grandson; Ashton Smith, and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by 2 sister-in-laws, Lorene and Eunice Miles and special family friends, Lori (Bill) Kicklighter, Pam Rogers and Dana Brown.
VISITATION: Visitation will be at NeSmith Funeral Home in Claxton, on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 5-8 pm.
FUNERAL: Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 2:00 pm at NeSmith Funeral Home with Pastor Marty Walker and C.B. Waters, officiating.
BURIAL: Old Anderson Primitive Baptist Church cemetery in Tattnall County.
PALLBEARERS: William Davis, Gary Kennedy, Harold Stapleton, Don Oliver, Leon Jackson, and Glen Boyd.
REMEMBRANCES: may be made to Evans County Humane Society of Claxton and Old Anderson Primitive Baptist Church cemetery fund in Tattnall County.
