Vincent M. Capron

HILTON HEAD ISLAND/ CLAXTON: Vincent M. Capron, 73, passed away February 16, 2017, at Candler Hospital. He was a native of New Jersey but had resided in Evans County for the past 20 years. He was of Catholic faith. Mr. Capron was a very generous man and loving to all. He was a respected business man in Claxton and Statesboro who resided in Hilton Head for the past two years and enjoyed life and family, and loved his mother who just turned 95 years old.
He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Mathew Capron and a son, Vincent Capron, Jr.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Deborah Thompson Capron of Hilton Head Island; his mother, Mavis Pearl Capron of Claxton; one son, Antonio Capron of Virginia; one daughter, Vonetta Capron of Florida; four brothers, Andrew Capron, Jr., of Mississippi, Dominick Capron of Florida, Dana Capron of Claxton and Michael Capron of N. Carolina; four sisters, Eileen Mone of the Virgin Islands, Mary Bostwick of Atlanta, Elaine Blaszkiw of Maryland and Roslyn Horton of Florida; two step-children, Whitney Lucas of Savannah, and Elliott Lucas of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: A celebration of his life will be held Private.
