William (Billy) Daniel

CLAXTON: William T. (Billy) Daniel, Sr., passed away July 1, 2015, in East Georgia Regional Hospital, Statesboro, Ga.
The Evans County native was a member of Bay Branch Primitive Baptist Church. He served in the Army Reserve for 8 years and was part owner of Dixon Motor Company for 54 years. Billy was a member of the Claxton Lions Club for 50 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Emile Wright and Ollie Mae Daniel, and two brothers, Bobby Gene Daniel and Charles Daniel.
SURVIORS: his wife, Joyce W. Daniel of Claxton; two sons, William T. Daniel, Jr., and Robert Gene (Lisa) Daniel, all of Claxton; two daughters, Becky (Wally) Hill of Atlanta and Patricia (Eddie) Bradley of Claxton; one brother, E. W. Daniel of Claxton; two sisters, Dallas Cason of Amelia Island, FL., and Joy Tippins of Claxton; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Thursday, July 2, 2015, 5-7:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Friday, July 3, 2015, 11:00 a.m., at Bay Branch Primitive Baptist Church.
BURIAL: Bay Branch Church Cemetery.
