OBITUARY
COLLINS: William “Bill” Peregoy, 78, passed away Friday, September 20, 2013 at Meadows Regional Hospital in Vidalia Ga. He was a native of Westminster, Maryland and moved to Georgia in 1999. After retiring from East Alco Aluminum in Fredrick, Md. He entered the Army in 1952 and spent 18 months in Korea. Among his awards are the Korean National Defense Ribbon, the Syngman Rhee Citation Medal, Korean Unit Citation and Korean Campaign Medal. He was a member of St. Benjamin Lutheren Church in Westminster, MD. He enjoyed attending classic car shows and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Peregoy Clenny.
SURVIVORS: His wife of 46 years, Sarah Peregoy, son David ( Andrea) Clenny, grandson Justin Clenny of Claxton; two brothers Robert (Barbara) Peregoy of Bean Station, TN., and Ralph (Linda) Peregoy of York, PA., two sisters; Evelyn Bennington of Rayford, NC, and Janice Smith of Taneytown, MD one brother-in-law; Jack (Noma) Eades of Groveville, NJ and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Monday September 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
